How large is the Built-in 500 grill? The Built-in 500 measures 33.5 inches wide, 27.6 inches deep, and 24 inches high, weighing 160 lbs. The primary cooking grid measures 29.5 x 18 inches, providing a main grilling area of 525 square inches. The secondary grilling area totals 261 square inches.
Do I need an insulated grill jacket for the Built-in 500 grill? The cabinet frame and cabinet must be constructed from non-combustible materials. If not, you should install the grill with the Napoleon Zero Clearance Liner. Note: Although the item description specifies the 700 Series grill, Napoleon confirms this liner also works for the Built-in 500.
